Why do people make golf so hard?

Hi Gang!

It is time to enter the blogging arena. I thought Independence Day would be a great day to start my blog - freedom, independence and all that stuff.
I'm breaking out - showing golfers, such as yourself, anything and everything you need to know to enjoy the game of golf. So feel free to ask me questions that you would like answers to, comments on my books, or DVD's. I really want this to be an interactive blog.

My first topic is, "Why do people make golf so hard?"
Even the teachers of the game make it too complicated, sometimes, to gain understanding of how to propel a ball from one point to another. Sure, there is a progression from beginner to intermediate and so on, but Ben Hogan laid down simple rules to follow that have been overlooked for some time and now are emerging as "New".
